Claremont Canzona was commissioned by
Cheadle Hulme School to celebrate the sesquicentenary of the founding
of the school and is dedicated to Philip Dewhurst and all the musicians
who gave the first performance on March 11th 2006 in their splendid
150th anniversary concert at the Royal Northern College of Music.
